Manipulation of photoinduced processes by reshaping transition states via transient strong coupling
ULYSSES proposes a new paradigm for controlling physico-chemical processes activated by light to improve their efficiency. The project will develop a novel platform that exploits optical nanostructures and ultrashort laser light pulses for real-time manipulation of molecular reactions, with applications ranging from photovoltaics to photocatalysis.
The Ulysses project is hosted by the Physics Department of Politecnico di Milano and financed by the European Research Council within European Union’s Horizon 2020 Programme (ERC Starting Grant No. 101077181).
